OEM Style H-D Replacement O2 Sensor
NEW for 2014. Nightrider.com is now offering genuine Bosch O2 sensors for use on your Harley-Davidson. This OEM style 18mm narrow band O2 sensor is a functional replacement for most Harley-Davidson 2-wire applications.
New O2 Sensors can improve the way your engine performs if it has 40,000+ miles on the odometer. The high exhaust heat ages narrow band sensor so they do not respond as quickly as they did when new, nor quite as accurately. This aging, while similar to an automobile, can be at a more rapid pace because of the proximity of the sensors to the exhaust valves. So replacement sensors can go a long way to improving that 'new bike' response from the EFI system. Do not get talked into expensive piggyback controllers and dyno tuning as your bike gets a few miles on it without considering the fact that it might be nothing more than the O2 sensor aging. A pair of O2 sensors is much less expensive and may still be required for your updated engine tune.
Recommended for 2007-2012 Twin Cams with 18mm Bosch O2 sensors.
Not Recommended for 2007-2013 Sportster.
Genuine Bosch NBO2 sensors with similar specifications to the OEM H-D O2 sensors (HD p/n 27683-06 or HD p/n 27719-07) fitted with proper connectors for Harley-Davidson 2-wire usage. This OEM style sensor is approximately 0.750" taller than the OEM HD sensor. In some rare instances with aftermarket header pipes, the rear sensor may be a very tight fit on Twin Cams.
On 2007-2013 Sportster the front sensor may have interference due to the additional length. Check clearance before installation.
