Our simple plug-n-play fuel management upgrade that is specifically designed for 2010 and later Harley-Davidson Touring motorcycles with the converter removed or complete exhaust system replaced. Nightrider's unique patented design works inline with the new design, smaller H-D Delphi heated narrow band O2 sensor and Delphi ECM to richen the fuel mixtures. Riders can quickly and simply richen the closed loop fuel mixture on your TC96/103/110 engine from the stock 14.6:1 to 14.0:1 AFR. The FL-XiED-10's will add approximately 6% more fuel to the engine in closed loop operating mode than a similar unequipped vehicle. There is an indirect richening of open loop fuel mixture's through the learning mode or adaptive fuel value action, ensuring these richer 13.8-12.5:1 AFR's are also adjusted in heavy/full throttle situations. 
This richer fuel mixture results in benefits that can include:
  • Cooler exhaust temperatures
  • Reduced engine temperatures
  • Improved throttle response
  • Less engine ping
Recommended for HD bikes with OEM emissions downloads. These include
  • TC96, TC96 Stage 1
  • TC103, TC103 Stage 1, TC103 Stage 2
  • TC110, SE CVO 110
Exhaust systems including slip-on mufflers and air cleaner upgrades are compatible with the FL-XiED-10 upgrade.
Bikes that have full exhaust system upgrades or undergo remove the catalytic converter are recommended to use the FL-VIED-10 product. Fine tuning of the O2 sensor signals may be required to optimize the fuel mixture when the converter is not in place.
Removal of the catalytic converter is not recommended due to emissions regulations.

Ordered your product and received it. Install was easy. It worked instantly and I was quite surprised. After using it for some time, not quite as great as first installed, but still good. Noticed some change, but no great ill effects.

XIED'ed About Being Cat-less
Decatted my 2011 FLHTP - a bit different than others. I added 8.5" of 1-3/4" pipe internally to move the "cross-over" opening farther away from the O2 sensors. Also blasted and painted the pipes with Black Satin from Tech-Line Coatings for additional heat barrier. Unfortunately, I added the XIED's at the same time, so I can't comment on a specific improvement over just being catless. However, throttle response is definitely crisper and low-end torque seems stronger. I've been holding off on a review until I saw some 90 degree riding with the changes. Heat is definitely significantly reduced on the right side - very noticable improvement sitting in traffic. Curious to see what mileage looks like on an extended highway run. Thanks for a great product at a great price.

ease of install is great total result is minimal, does help to a extent for the pre-ignition issue, we have less octane at this altitude, it seemed better at sea level. I think you could improve it a little better. fuel mileage did not change, which is good. I guess if you want to race, then spend a lot for more precise management. this is a good product!

no change
After having a set on my 07 ultra and noticing an improvement I purchased a set for my 13 ultra. I honestly cannot tell any difference with or without. I ran them about 1500 miles.The only difference I have seen with this set is a little less gas mileage.

I heard about this on the HD forums. My stock 2013 was running real hot so I decided to take out the catalytic converter. Doing this I knew I had to also increase my fuel flow. The XiED seemed the easiest. It worked great. Not only did I see an increase in performance but the sound of my bike increased somewhat so now I don't have to change my mufflers. This was a great buy that saved me alot of money --rather than buying one of those other fancy fuel management systems! Highly recommend. Bob
